Histology Supervisor | Ameripath | Indianapolis, IN
AmeriPath, a division of Quest Diagnostics, is one of the
nation's largest physician and laboratory companies focused on providing
anatomic pathology, cancer diagnostic, and healthcare information
services to physicians, hospitals, national clinical laboratories and
managed care organizations. Presently operating in 24 states, we provide
medical services through outpatient pathology laboratories, hospital
inpatient laboratories, and outpatient surgery centers.
AmeriPath Indiana in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Histology
Supervisor with good operational and management skills. The position
will be responsible to ensure that standards of accuracy, quality and
timely turnaround times are successfully met. The successful candidate
must be able to effectively prioritize workflow, which includes
embedding and cutting specimen blocks, as well as possessing expertise
in H&E and special stains.
Requirements Include:
- Associates Degree required, Bachelors of Science Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-5 years Histology supervision or management
experience
- ASCP certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist
(HTL)
